| | Marriage in Villages
| |
| |
Indian villages have a completely different life style in comparison with the urban life. Indian villages have remained closer to the ancient day`s culture in India. In villages still mostly arranged marriages are taking place. The marriage functions are longer with pre marriage, marriage and post marriage functions taking place according to the older culture. Families and extended families come together and participate in the wedding functions and hence there is no need of outsourcing of any kind. It`s not only the families who are involved but also the whole village becomes a part of the marriage ceremony. In villages dowry is seen more commonly and prominently prevailing and a successful or unsuccessful marriage depends upon the how happy the groom`s family is with the dowry received from the bride`s family.
A village wedding is an unforgettable experience for a where the nuptials are conducted on a grand scale and the whole village is invited, so are people from the nearby villages and anyone living within a five-mile radius. The hosts have to make sure that there are enormous quantities of rich, greasy food and an abundance of milk and drinks. Their reputation depends on it.
