| |
| |
The cultivators of house plants indoors are divided into two classes: Those who raise them for love of the plants and those who have a few plants for indoor decoration. As these classes overlap to some extent, we will attempt to cover most of the phases of indoor culture, leaving it to the individual to choose the information best suited to his needs.
The chief requirements of house plants are:
1. Light.
2. Suitable potting.
3. Watering (soil moisture).
4. Moist air (temperature and ventilation).
5. Care of leaves.
6. Food.
7. Protection against pests.
